Manila, Philippines—The After Six Club (Peopable Worldwide Corporation) officially announces partnership with SMX Convention Center (SM Prime Holdings Inc.) as the official venue partner for Project VAST, an educational program that offers a series of holistic training and workshop for aspiring Filipino digital professionals.

As advocates of lifelong learning, The After Six Club is championing the Digital Nomad lifestyle. Project VAST is an ambitious project whose goal is to enable Filipinos to take advantage of the VAST opportunities they can get by becoming a Digital Professional or simply, DigiPRO.

Project VAST will be offering half-day classes at SMX Convention Centers wherein participants will not only learn how to get started as a DigiPRO using their current skill sets but also learn where and how to get clients, set rate cards, get paid, and learn new, specific skills.

Present during the contract signing were SMX Convention Center’s Vice President for Sales and Marketing Ma. Agnes Pacis, Assistant Vice President for Sales Mina Kahn, Senior Project Manager for Business Development Group Sheryl Cham-Perea, Peopable Worldwide Corporation CEO Kassy Pajarillo, Project VAST Co-Founder and The After Six Club Editor In Chief Kath C. Eustaquio-Derla, Project VAST Founding Trainer Ava Banzuela Esplanada, The After Six Club Operations Manager Raymond Braganza, and Events and Partnership Director Lysa Sanchez.

Remote Work Is The New Corporate

Regardless of age and employment status, building an abundance mindset and learning advanced digital skills can help Filipinos, even those with 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. corporate jobs earn extra income after 6:00 P.M. Moreover, having an entrepreneurial mindset will help freelancers, virtual assistants, work-from-home parents, online coaches, and more thrive as a responsible and proactive DigiPRO.

“As an experienced virtual assistant, I have been constantly searching for different trainings where I could learn something new. We created Project VAST to provide different avenues for growth and development,” said Ava.

Aligned with The After Six Club’s slogan #DriveAmbition, Project VAST classes will cover mind and culture setting so aspiring DigiPROs can decide if this type of remote lifestyle really is for them.

“It’s easy to get distracted when there are a million of opportunities and decisions to choose from. Your ambition is your driving force that makes you live your authentic self— wherein you’re mindful of your choices, how you treat others, what your goals are for, and embracing your truth where principles and values are encompassing,” said Kassy.

Information can easily be found online but without the proper structure and mindset, an aspiring DigiPRO will not thrive. Partnering with SMX Convention Center enables The After Six Club to offer structured classes not just in Metro Manila but also in provincial sites.

“Project VAST’s vision is to bridge the gap between the high demand for experienced DigiPROs and the currently low supply of these types of professionals,” said Kath.

“The mission is to help people understand that with a working laptop, connectivity, right mindset, and strong drive, you can thrive as a DigiPRO anywhere! The execution is local but the vision is global. After all, it’s a VAST world.”
